New project - tourist apiaries to be launched in Dagestan

Following industrial tourism, Dagestan intends to launch a new type of leisure for tourists - guest apiaries. AS to Nadyr Akhmedov, the head of Dagestan Union of Beekeepers and Medovye Gory farm, the guest apiaries will help to attract tourists and show them the production of honey from Dagestan highlands. Akhmedov highlights rapid development of "apitherapy" in recent years which implies the treatment of a variety of diseases using bees and bee products. It is it, the expert says, will attract even more guests to Dagestan.
