Makhachkala, April 3, 2019. The successful experience of imam of Khasavyurt mosque in conducting online sermons is planned to be spread throughout Dagestan. As to the Minister for Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Dagestan Sergei Snegirev, the experience of preventive work with the young people is being successfully implemented in the republic. The Imam of the mosque in Khasavyurt Kamilgerey Salgereev, on his own initiative, conducts online broadcasts “Imam’s Opinion”. During the 20-minute airs, he answers questions and conducts a sermon.

The experience was appreciated in the regional ministry. Similar practice is scheduled to be implemented in the other parts of the republic. For this, small studios with high-speed Internet will be formed. The ethers will be conducted by the representatives of the antiterrorist commissions on the ground and experts of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Dagestan.

Currently, the preventive work against the spread antisocial and criminal ideas among the youth is being carried out within the framework of the Comprehensive Program of Counteraction against the Ideology of Terrorism in the Republic of Dagestan for 2018-2020.
