Moscow House of Nationalities to host 200-year anniversary of Hadji Murat

Makhachkala, November 12, 2015. On November 13, the event dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the hero of the Caucasian War and the novel by Lev Tolstoy "Hadji Murad", will take place in the Moscow House of Nationalities, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Dagestan at the President of Russia official reports.

As reported, the event is organized by the Public Council of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Dagestan at the President of Russia and the Moscow Khunzakh society.

The event envisages holding a presentation of the book "The truth about Hadji Murad"  written by the famous Russian historian-Caucasian scientist, Professor Rudolf Ivanov  and dedicated to the Avar leader and military commander Haji Murad Khunzakhskiy, 30-minute documentary film about the Caucasian War, created by the Public Council member Ibragim Atayev as well as the performance of scientists, historians and public figures.
