Makhachkala, June 11, 2015. The Head of the department for national policy, inter-regional relations and tourism of Moscow municipal government Vladimir Chernikov shared information that Moscow authorities are considering the development of outbound travel tours to the regions of the Northern Caucasus.

"This issue demands serious consideration. We understand that people need to be ensured with comfort and safety. With the North Caucasus we have not been working so closely as to other regions, but we are really interested in the development of outbound tourism for Muscovites" - Chernikov said.

According to him, Moscow can organize tours to different regions of the North Caucasus. "Dagestan, Dombay, Mineralnye Vody, Krasnodar. It can be a year-round tourism: both summer and winter. All regions should be interested in the inflow of tourists from Moscow, because they are willing to spend money" - the official added.

Until now, the capital was mainly engaged in the promotion of tours from other regions to Moscow. The city had developed more than 200 tourist destinations. The municipal authorities attract operators to participate in programs encouraging them to regulate prices and other terms of tours.
