Makhachkala, April 14, 2018. Over 800 people took part in an ecological marathon in Makhachkala, the press service of the regional ministry for affairs of youth reports.

The ensemble "Lezginka", the multifunctional center "My Documents", Dagestan State Agrarian University, Dagestan State Technical University, Dagestan State University, Dagestan State University of National Economy, Dagestan State Medical University, Russian Law Academy, the Ministry for Affairs of Youth, the Republican Youth Center as well as different public non-governmental organizations joined the action.

The speaker of Dagestan parliament Khizri Shikhsaidov and the prime minister of Dagestan Artem Zdunov took an active part in the action.

Within the framework of the action, the volunteers clean the territory, whitewash trees and curbs, dig around the greenery, etc. The cleaning work was done in seven locations: along the road Makhachkala-Kaspiysk, in the suburb Turali, along Nasrutdinov Avenue, on the beach "Berezka" and in the territories adjacent to the universities. Recall the organizer of the Ecological Marathon is the Ministry for Affairs of Youth of the Republic of Dagestan.
