Makhachkala, October 17, 2020. The series of tours and expeditions across the Northern Caucasus, which took place within the framework of the project "Photo-blog-tour "Above the Mountains" has finished, the press service of the republican Youth Affairs Ministry reports.

More than 20 bloggers and photographers from Dagestan took part in the events. As a result, they created a unique photo and video content about the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District in the social network Instagram and a number of other Internet sites.

The route passed through the Karmadon Gorge of North Ossetia, in the Gunibsky and Charodinsky districts of Dagestan, on the Lyazhginsky waterfall, Tsey-Loamsky pass, etc.

As to the project coordinator Patimat Asadulaeva, the tour was held in order to show the sites of the region that are not popular among tourists, but are not inferior in beauty to popular places. Noteworthy, the project "Above the Mountains" Photo Blog Tour is the winner of the grant competition of the North Caucasian Youth Forum "Mashuk-2019".
