Mobile exhibition photo project "Sacred attribute" arrives in Dagestan

Makhachkala, July 11, 2018. As part of the trip across the branches of the national Museum of Dagestan named after A. Tahoe-Godi, the mobile exhibition photo project "Sacred attribute" of the Museum of history of world cultures and religions (Derbent) has kicked off in the building of the cultural and historical complex "Ahulgo" in the village of Ashilta, Untsukul district, the press service of Derbent administration reports.

The exhibition of the project, which allows to expand the possibilities and scope of both the exhibition and the promotion of the Museum collection, presents the traditions of Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, as well as the ritual objects of various religions.

The presence of the newlyweds has become a key event at the opening ceremony. Traditionally, the young couples of the hosting region visit the complex of "Ahulgo" on the wedding day.
