Members of Guild of Interethnic Journalism arrive in Dagestan

Makhachkala, September 16, 2015. Yesterday, the members of the Guild of Interethnic Journalism arrived in Dagestan. As it was reported, Dagestan minister of national policy Tatiana Gamaley met with the members of the Guild.

Some of the participants told that they had been in Dagestan before and were glad to return to the republic. According to the guests, Makhachkala made an impression on them as a big city with a large number of new buildings.

Let us remind that a press tour of the Guild of Interethnic Journalism will be held on September 14 - 20. The journalists are going to get familiarized with the national policies of the republic, its ethno-cultural originality and to visit the ancient city of Russia - Derbent, craft villages such as Kubachi and Balkhar.

On September 18, Makhachkala will host a unique architectural design of the Guild – the photo exhibition entitled "Children of Russia", which was successfully held in 10 regions of Russia. A seminar on media coverage of the national subjects across Russia with the participation of journalists and a ceremony of awarding the winners of the "Media peacemaker. Caucasus "contest will take place within the photo exhibition.

The parties also discussed the program of the tour and the preparation of celebrations for the anniversary of Derbent. The guests expressed readiness to visit one of the national theaters of Dagestan, the National Library and the Poetry Theater. In conclusion, Tatiana Gamaley wished the guests of the press tour the vivid impressions and fruitful work.
