Makhachkala, December 3, 2019. The final part of the first youth contest “Media PROmotion” was held on December 2 in the Historical Park “Russia is My History”. The competition was organized by the republican Ministry for Youth Affairs in the next nominations: “The best press service of the university”, “The best municipal account on social networks”, “Youth media project” and “The best material covering youth event”. For each nomination, the organizers received applications from both cities and regions of the republic.

The winners were determined after viewing the presentations of each participant. The jury examined works both by the young specialists and experienced journalists from Dagestan. After the presentation part, the list of winners was announced.
Dina Balgishieva from Dagestan State Medical University won in the nominations “The best press service of the university” and “The best material covering the youth event”. The first places were also awarded to Madina Magomedova (Dakhadaevsky district) in the “The Best Municipal Social Media Account” nomination and Israfil Israfilov with the project “team.dagestan” in the “Youth Media Project” nomination. All winners were awarded with mobile technicians from the organizers (tablets and phones).

At the solemn awarding ceremony, the director of the Republican Youth Center Rashid Maksutov said that the competition would be held in every subsequent year. At the same time, it will become large-scale and massive. The terms of participation and prizes will also be revised.
