The vote is held on the website of the Internet project "The City of Russia. National choice".

The project is conducted annually on the eve of the new year. The results will be announced on December 30 at the official website of the project. At the very moment, Makhachkala gained about 6 thousand votes and takes the 54th place. Voting data is updated every minute.

One can vote for one’s favorite city from one IP-address once a day. So far, Penza, Vladikavkaz and Vladivostok are in the lead. Last year, the capital of Dagestan gained 2.3 thousand votes, taking the 73rd place.
