Makhachkala, July 7, 2014. On July 5, a delegation from the Makhachkala’s Kirov district administration headed by Salikh Sagidov organized a tour of ancient Derbent for refugees from the Ukraine housed in the "Dolphin" resort to try and wade their cares away, the press service of the administration informed RIA "Daghestan".

The Ukrainian guests really admired the city. They thanked Daghestan leadership for the trip and the entire assistance they provide to the people in a difficult situation.

In turn, Salikh Sagidov noted, "In our district administration, we have established a working group on helping the Ukrainian refugees. We ensure they have everything they need, plus we cater for food and clothing. In addition, we transferred a day's wages to their account, so did our entrepreneurs. We intend to keep on materially and morally support the guests from Ukraine, and if necessary, help them get employed and send their kids to schools and kindergartens."

After the tour, the Derbent region administration organized another tour to let the guests see and taste the national cuisine of Derbent, the source said.
