Makhachkala hosts finale of "Kamil and Natalia Murzabekovs. To the 85th anniversary of artists" exhibition

Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts named after P. S. Gamzatov held a finale of the exhibition "Kamil and Natalya Murzabekovs. To the 85th anniversary of artists”. The paintings, drawings, theatrical, decorative and monumental works created in the period from 1960 to 2010 have been presented in the show room.

Kamil Murzabekov’s (painter, graphic artist and sculptor) works are kept in different museums: the State Russian Museum, the National Museum of the Chechen Republic, Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts named after P.S. Gamzatov, the National Museum of the Republic of Dagestan named after A. Takho-Godi and Makhachkala Museum. His wife - Natalia Murzabekova (Avgustovich) was artist-painter.

At the end of the event, Arslan Murzabekov, the son of the artists, the Honored Artist of Dagestan, thanked all those present for the kind words to his parents and the exhibition organized in their memory. Murzabekov also thanked Salihat Gamzatova, director of the museum as well as Alexandra Sergeeva, the exhibition curator for organizing the big event in family’s life.
