Major anchor investment projects to be implemented in Dagestan

In 2022, the tourist flow to Dagestan totaled 1.5 million people. Accordingly, the volume of tourism industry services increased up to 7 billion rubles. The republic plans to implement major anchor investment projects, such as: the creation of the Caspian resort "Kayakent", the creation of a special economic zone of tourist-recreational type "Caspian coastal cluster" and the All-Russian Children Center "Dagestan".

At the moment the Government of Dagestan jointly with the company "Creative Technologies" have developed a special concept and draft action plan to implement the stages of pre-project and project preparation for the construction of the Caspian resort "Kayakent". The All-Russian Children's Center Dagestan will also be built on the territory of this resort. This facility will be designed for a year-round operation and for 1,260 children per shift.
