Instructors of 1st international interfaith youth forum meet in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, August 1, 2014. On 31 July Instructors of 1st international interfaith youth forum met at "Daghestan house of children's and youth associations" of the ministry of education and science, a source in the ministry reports.

Here, the instructors learned the details about the forum’s duty regulations, its program, and the rules of stay at the international interfaith youth forum which is scheduled to run 3-12 August at the "Kizlyar Lagoon" recreation center at the Caspian shore. The event is organized by Daghestan government, Makhachkala Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, Daghestan Spiritual Muslim Board, and the interregional youth laboratory on Caucasus development with the support of religious and youth organizations from the North Caucasus Federal District and South Ossetia.

The forum aims at bringing and strengthening spiritual and moral values among the younger generation, nurturing correct the friendly perception of ethnic and cultural diversity of the region, and creating an educational platform and environment to develop intercultural, inter-religious, inter-ethnic dialogue between young people aged 16-30 years from Daghestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, North Ossetia, Stavropol region, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, South Ossetia, and Azerbaijan.

Participants will have events aimed at their personal development and physical fit. They’ll attends meetings with prominent religious, political, sports and public figures, and have some sports events, trainings, simulation and role-playing games.
