Makhachkala, December 29, 2015. The modern hemodialysis center has been solemnly opened today, December 23, in Makhachkala. The Prime Minister of Dagestan Abdusamad Gamidov, the Minister of Public Health Tanka Ibragimov and the Mayor of Makhachkala Musa Musayev cut the symbolic red ribbon. The center has been operating since April this year, but the grand opening was held only today.

The chief doctor of the Center Patimat Gajiyeva held a tour for the visitors across the dialysis and ancillary facilities. According to Gajiyeva, 40 appliances of "artificial kidney" working in three shifts are installed in the Center for serving 153 patients. All patients receive medical care free of charge - under the policy of compulsory medical insurance.

470 residents currently undergo dialysis in the republic. The other 2000 people apply for the medical procedure. Today, in Dagestan, all patients requiring dialysis receive timely medical care.

The guests also communicated with the patients of the Center undergoing treatment. All were satisfied with the quality of health services and conditions in the Center.
