"Golden Autumn - 2014" Russian agricultural exhibition opens in Moscow

Moscow, October 9, 2014. The 16th Russian agricultural exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2014" opened in the All-Russia Exhibition Center in Moscow to welcome exhibits of almost all Russian regions and some foreign companies.

Daghestan delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Sharip Sharipov presents exhibit spaces occupying 98 m2 decorated in national Daghestani colours.
At the exhibition, the republic is represented by enterprises such as Kizlyar cognac plant, Derbent cognac plant, Derbent factory of sparkling wines, "Deneb", "Dagagroholding", "Kizlyaragrocomplex",  Kizlyar Uritzky meat processing plant, Shirokolsky fish factory,  Kikuninsky cannery, "Darada-Murad" LLC, "Aquarius" OJSC, "Pishevik" JSC, Bryansk fish factory, Boztorgai farm (Nogai region), "Evrokond"(Izberbash), the "Dido" farm, and the "Azamat" farm.

Here, Daghestanis showcase their food, handicrafts, and the latest agricultural machinery and equipment for crop farming, cattle breeding and aviculture.
The livestock breeding section is a hit of the exhibition. It demonstrates the most popular breeds of cattle, sheep and poultry (chickens, geese, turkeys), and fur-bearing animals (foxes, minks, hybrids of species). A special area is given for participants to demonstrate the best breeds of cattle and to hold specialized workshops.

The exhibition is scheduled to run until October 12.
