Free day care opens in Dagestan

Makhachkala, February 7, 2019. A social kindergarten where the parents facing economic poverty can leave their children and get a part-time job has opened in Makhachkala. The project initiator Raisat Osmanova received one million rubles as a grant support from the region governor.

For this money, the philanthropist rented an apartment, bought furniture and arranged the area. The small area fits 12 children. In the mini-kindergarten any child can be left completely free of charge from 9 a.m to 17 p.m. The children left in the day care will be looked after and fed. The group is designed for 12 children. For the present time it is visited by 11 kids. The mothers who, by the way, are paid a small salary cook and care for the children by themselves.
