First children's diagnostic center opens in Dagestan

Makhachkala, September 15, 2020. The first specialized children's consultative and diagnostic center will operate in the republic on the basis of the Children's Consultative and Diagnostic Center, the press service of the regional Public Health Ministry reports.

The delegation of the Ministry, headed by its head Djamaludin Gadjiibragimov, got familiarized with the work of the new center. In the coming days, the clinic's arsenal will receive 2 CT and 2 MRI machines, purchased with funds of the children's health development program in the Republic of Dagestan.

The center already has new ENT and cardiological equipment, radiation diagnostic devices, analyzers for the center's laboratories and a lot of other necessary medical equipment. Besides, a 40-bed day hospital has been reopened.

The minister noted that the principles of frugality that allow saving the time of patients and medical staff had been introduced into the work of the children's diagnostic center. “Modern equipment helps doctors to accurately diagnose pathology and to prescribe the right treatment in due time. The National Healthcare Project makes a significant contribution to the development of children's health care in the region, Gadjiibragimov is quoted saying.
