Federal media journalists and popular photo travelers make tour of Daghestan

Makhachkala, May 7, 2014. Federal mass media journalists and popular photo travelers made 2 press tours of Daghestan, the spokesman at Daghestan Ministry of Press and Information told RIA "Daghestan".

The press tour organized by the Press Ministry gathered a group of federal media journalists who came to Daghestan to participate in the Russian cultural and investment forum "Culture and Economy of Regional Policy in Modern Context" and see the cities and districts of the republic.

Deputy executive editor of the "Komsomolskaya Pravda" newspaper and editor-in-chief of the "Union State" journal Sergey Chernykh, editor of the regional application department of the "Arguments and Facts" weekly Igor Nikiforov, RIA Novosti correspondent Patimat Rassulova, "Nasha Versiya" correspondent Igor Dmitriev, "Free Press" internet portal’s correspondent Irina Belacheou, and other journalists were among the participants.

Sergey Chernykh had an exclusive interview with Daghestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov.

The 2nd group included photo travelers: Alexander Popov, Dmitry Chistoprudov, Ivan Dementievsky, and Peter Ushanov. They visited Makhachkala, Derbent, Gunib, Kubachi, Balkhar, Untsukul, Akhty, Rurush, and some other villages.

Following the trip, they will publish a number of reports in popular blogs on Live Journal and Facebook. First publications with colorful photographs are already there on blogger pages and social networks.
