Extreme heat threatens to cause fires in Dagestan

Makhachkala, August 21, 2015. The abnormal hot weather in Dagestan creates an extremely fire-hazardous situation in the lowland and foothill areas of the republic, the press service of the regional EMERCOM reports. The representatives of the Office clarified that the fires threaten landscape and forest areas. "In the summer fire-dangerous period it is necessary to observe fire safety measures, to be cautious and vigilant when dealing with fire" – the EMERCOM officer noted.
