Makhachkala, May 22, 2015. At the 2nd inter-regional construction and architectural exhibition forum "Dagstroiexpo-2015" which opened yesterday at Dagestan National Library of the Republic, Dagestan State Technical University presented the latest technical developments of their faculty of construction and architecture, the press service of the university informed RIA Dagestan.

The development are: the system of seismic protection of buildings and facilities, different types of heat-resistant concrete, formwork systems, sandwich constructions, and various building and facility project models developed by the students. Visitors paid particular attention to DSTU exhibits such as latest devices that determine thermal conductivity and heat capacity and new instruments of satellite positioning for site engineering.

The exhibition was attended by deputy Dagestan Prime Minister Gassan Idrissov, 1st deputy minister of construction, architecture and housing Magomed Osmanov, General Director of the Guild of North Caucasus Builders Ali Shakhbanov, representatives of Dagestan Chamber of Commerce, heads of large republican construction companies, and alumni of the faculty of construction and architecture.

Gassan Idrissov said the technical university has always presented exciting developments featuring innovative approach, application potential, and creativity in technical solutions.

Magomed Osmanov noted that holding such a significant exhibition forum for the republic has a positive effect on development of interregional and international relations among construction companies and organizations as well as on creation of a favourable investment climate to attract potential domestic and foreign investors in developing the construction industry of the republic.

DSTU has been an active participant in such-like exhibitions, and their developments have always showed novelty and professional approach.
