DSTU lecturer wins "Top 100 Autodesk lecturers" contest

Makhachkala, September 30, 2014. Magomed Kurbanov, a senior lecturer with Daghestan State Technical University’s department of econometrics and computer applications in design, was among the winners of the "Top 100 Autodesk lecturers" conducted by Autodesk (USA), the university’s press service reports.

Autodesk is a global leader in multiple fields of engineering. The purpose of the competition was to compile and provide information on leading lecturers and their educational accomplishments, lecturers whose approaches, methods, techniques in using Autodesk educational products had helped significantly improve the quality and efficiency of the educational or research institutions they work for.

It was an open essay competition ("Success Stories") describing effective integration of Autodesk products into the educational or scientific process of a particular educational institution, made by a particular lecturer or a particular team under the lecturer’s supervision. The expert council selected 100 lecturers whose "Success Stories" showed the most effective models to be further made public, spread and integrated in educational institutions.

In his "Success Story", Magomed Kurbanov spoke about how he taught his students to use 3dsMax applications in modern context.
