DSTU hosts VII International scientific-practical conference on social policy and economic cooperation

Makhachkala, October 26, 2015. The VII International scientific-practical conference "Actual issues of social policy and economic cooperation of Russia" took place October from 22 - 23 in Dagestan State Technical University, the press service of the university reports. The vice-rector for scientific and innovative activity of DSTU, PhD, Professor Elena Pavlyuchenko greeted the participants of the conference at the plenary session.

The conference moderator PhD, Professor, Head of the Department of World Economy Aida Esetova noted that the search and study of promising areas of economic and social development, as well as the generalization of the international experience of economic cooperation is of particular relevance in terms of negative macroeconomic and geopolitical conditions for the Russian Federation.

That is why in their reports the participants paid great attention to the measures aimed at enhancing competition, harmonization of market activity, improving the level and quality of life for ordinary citizens and the creation of a society with standard principles of equal opportunities in Russia, etc.

In his report, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Head of Social Policy and Economic Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development of the Republic of Dagestan Hirapatimat Gajiyeva generalized the practice of implementing the standard of competition in the Republic of Dagestan.

The leading manager for the development of foreign exchange control and foreign trade activities of the North-Caucasian bank of "Sberbank of Russia" in Stavropol Roman Chibisov reported on the socio-economic role of Sberbank of Russia in the development of the North Caucasian region.

Ph.D., associate professor, professor of RAE, editor in chief of the scientific journal "Economics and Finance" Svetlana Drobyazko read a report on the necessity of creating a grain pool as a factor in strengthening the economic security of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

This issue was further developed in the discussion about food security of Russia in the conditions of import substitution. The Head of foreign economic activity Department of the Chamber of Commerce RD Rafael Guliyev spoke on the features of development of trade and economic relations between Russia and Kazakhstan.

More than 100 reports of participants from more than 40 universities and institutions of the Russian Federation, as well as from 20 foreign universities and organizations were delivered within the framework of several sections: "The main directions of socio-economic development of Russia"; "The strategy of increasing the competitiveness of national producers'; "Conditions and factors of development of economic cooperation in Russia".
