Pyatigorsk, August 13, 2014. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited the North Caucasus Youth Forum "Mashuk-2014". Traditionally, he saw the camp and visited all delegations’ pavilions, including Daghestan pavilion devoted to the ancient Russian city of Derbent.

Daghestan delegation is the second largest after the hosting Stavropol region. Daghestan reperesentative Akhmed Abdullayev told D. Medvedev about Daghestan pavilion’s events and Dagestani youth projects.

After seeing the camp, the head of Russian government met with the young people and answered their questions, the most painful one being the Ukraine issue. "Mashuk" sheltered Ukrainian refugees during its 2 sessions.

Dagestani youth was mainly worried about agriculture. They asked about developing agriculture in the light of Western sanctions and Russian counter-sanctions, retrieving young people in the villages, and developing the traditional Caucasian livestock breeding.

Dagestani youth takes an active part in the competitive program. "We’ve come up with a draft project that can fundamentally change the state of medicine in Daghestan and to significantly refill the budget," said Daghestan’s Saparcha Magomedov in an interview with RIA "Dagestan".

RIA "Dagestan" is an official partner of "Mashuk-2014". Here, the information agency’s employees work as experts and volunteers.
