Digital literacy school launched in Dagestan

On October 19, the School of Digital Literacy started its work at the Republican Youth Center. The event is organized by the coordinating center of Dagestan State University with support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Dagestan, the Youth Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Dagestan and the regional Ministry of Digital Development.

The first deputy Head of the Information and Press Agency of the Republic of Dagestan Naida Magomedova welcomed the participants in her greeting speech.

"We live in a difficult period, under information pressure. Therefore, it is very important to find tools to protect young people from false ideas, to teach young people to think for themselves, to analyze information" – the top official noted. The participants of the school received knowledge about information volunteering, Internet safety and the ways to distinguish fake content through lectures and master classes. The experts in cybersecurity from Dagestan and Moscow shared information on the most actual issues.
