Makhachkala, July 20, 2016. More than 300 individuals, including delegations from 16 subjects of the Russian Federation will participate in the Mountain Forum in Dagestan on July 26 - 29, the press service of Dagestani Head and government administration informs.
The Mountain Forum is a large-scale event led by Dagestani Government within the framework of the Year of Mountains in the republic. The forum will take place in Makhachkala, the village of Akhty, Khunzakhsky and Tlyaratinsky districts of Dagestan.
The scientific and practical conference entitled "Effective development of mountainous districts of Russia" scheduled for July 27 in Makhachkala is expected to become the key event of the Mountain Forum. It should be noted that the forum visitors can see the works of Dagestan art masters at the special exhibition within the framework of the conference. The event participants will also take part in the round table discussions and seminars. The All-Russian public organization "Russian Geographical Society" and the Government of the Republic of Dagestan will sign an agreement on cooperation as well as adopt a Declaration on the Highlands Community Charter.
Different volunteers’ corps will be attracted to provide the organizational assistance.
