Daghestani minister of press and information meets with youth open government

Makhachkala, March 24, 2014. On March 20, Daghestani minister of press and information Aznaur Adjiev met with members of the Open Youth Government, the OYG press service says. The meeting brought together OYG Chairman Said Mikogaziev and members Supian Djabrayilov, Ludmila Magomedova, Raziat Idrisgadjieva, as well as the ministry officials.

The young people said about what various projects they are going to implement in the near future and what hand they need from the executive authorities.

Aznaur Adjiev promised his support to young leaders’ endeavors noting that they should not submit "raw" projects but pilot options.

The minister also spoke about creating the "Media Incubator" and the "League of Internet Security" – the programs being developed by the Ministry of Press and Information. He suggested the OYG members contribute to these projects.
The open youth government is a new mechanism of involving young people in the work of public authorities. Since March 2013, they have been selecting OYG member candidates who presented their specific industrial projects. The idea was to form the OYG by selecting talented and active young citizens with leadership potential and a systemic vision of the industrial development.
