Daghestan State Technical University’s developments win Grand Prix and 6 medals at international exhibition

Makhachkala, July 7, 2014. DSTU’s developments won the Grand Prix and 6 medals at the 4^th international exhibition "Measurement, world, person - 2014" held in the Polzunov Altai State Technical University, a source in the DSTU informed RIA "Daghestan". The exhibition features a series of events, meetings and conferences with participation of leading domestic and foreign scientists and inventors. The exhibit demonstrated modern measuring equipment, software, information materials, and tutorials.

The DSTU representatives displayed their 8 developments that later won jury’s recognition and were awarded medals. The greatest award – the Grand Prix– was awarded to the "Automated complex for neonatal intensive care" by the DSTU scientist team (T. Ismailov, M. Hazamova, O. Evdulova and Z. Hulalmagomedova); other developments won a gold, 3 silvers, 2 bronzes and the diploma of the exhibition.

Participants said the event allows the scientists to demonstrate their inventions and innovative technologies and get a real chance to commercialize their developments, as well as to expand their existing business connections, establish new joint initiatives, and sign mutually beneficial contracts.
