Makhachkala, October 7, 2014. An international Mini MBA Business School was launched in the Daghestan State Institute of National Economy. 4 rooms were specially prepared for the business school in the university.
The business school aims at preparing a new generation of professional managers of various levels able to solve problems of Daghestan’s economic development, work out and implement the regional development strategy, manage organization’s changes, make a team of professionals, and effectively use the latest technology.
Students were being sel ected June to August, 2014. 26 students were enrolled out of a large number of applicants; most of them are young entrepreneurs. The curriculum is organized in 11 modules - one in a month. Each module will be given every first Friday and Saturday of each month with a certificate awarded. The students will get their diplomas after they finish the course. Then, the graduates will have a two-week internship in Germany.
The school is part of the Daghestan priority projects "Investment in Daghestan". The pilot project was tested October 24 to December 5, 2014. It included 7 events: public lectures, workshops, and master classes by leading experts and businessmen fr om Russia and the CIS.
