Daghestan Pension Fund officials visit refugees from Ukraine

Makhachkala, July 1, 2014. On June 30, officials from Daghestani office of the Russian Pension Fund headed by deputy fund manager Nurulakh Suleymanov came to visit refugees from Ukraine housed in the "Dolphin" recreation centre, the fund’s press service informed RIA "Daghestan". There are 100 people including 4 pensioners, 36 children and 4 babies.

The delegation wanted to talk about the problems of pensioners and other pension fund clients, and help people solve them. A few people were already employed on spot. People are provided with all the necessary assistance, even psychological care. The pension fund representatives informed the refugees they had to have a document proving their residence permit, refugee status or Russian citizenship. Nurulakh Suleymanov said these papers will guarantee them their pension in line with federal law.

Then, the authorities and recreation center’s management discussed the pension fund’s contribution in providing assistance to the refugees, ensuring that it hadn’t been their final meeting.
