Dagestanis present two projects at seminar of International Islamic Mission in Pyatigorsk

Makhachkala, December 6, 2016. Dagestanis Sabina Kurbanova and Ibragim Yakhiev presented their projects at a seminar of the International Islamic Mission held in Pyatigorsk on December 2 - 6. The event was dedicated to the discussion of regional projects focused on strengthening friendship and mutual understanding among the people of different nationalities and religions in the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District and the Republic of Crimea.

Sabina Kurbanova’s draft is focused on training religious leaders in the social networks. In view of the fact that young people today primarily use the information on religion themes from the Internet, there is a need to clarify and correctly interpret it in order to avoid controversy. According to Kurbanova, the project has been realized for a long time, the support of the International Islamic Mission has given hope to join other religious organizations. A trip across the North Caucasus districts at the invitation of the neighboring regions will be arranged soon.

Besides, the seminar was held to analyze the process of implementation of the inter-regional project related to the formation of interfaith and interethnic mutual respect among the young people, carried out on the territory of the North Caucasian Federal District and the Republic of Crimea. Recall, that the event was organized by the centralized religious organization "International Islamic Mission" with the support of Non-profit Charitable Foundation "Foundation for the Support of Islamic culture, science and education."
