Dagestani representatives to take part in first Russian-Armenian forum

Makhachkala, February 13, 2015. Head of the department for working with students and young workers of Dagestan ministry of youth affairs Magomed Hatipov and member of Dagestan Public Chamber Magomed Kurbanov will take part in the first Russian-Armenian forum scheduled to run February 12-14 in Yerevan, Armenia, a source in the republican ministry of youth affairs told RIA Dagestan.

The forum is organized by the Russian Federal Agency of Youth Affairs, the Armenian Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, the Russian federal "International Youth Centre", and the association of NGOs "National Youth and Children’s Associations Council of Russia".

Participants will work in several areas: "Prospects for economic cooperation. Establishing and developing joint small and medium-sized enterprises in the Eurasian economic space", "Public diplomacy and youth parliamentarism", "Preserving historical and cultural heritage, intercultural dialogue as a means of deepening youth cooperation (as part of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War)", and "Mechanisms for cooperation between the state and youth organizations: exchange of experiences".

The bilateral youth partnership aims at enhancing international youth cooperation and friendly relations between young people of Armenia and Russia, involving young people in socio-economic development of the two countries, and upholding the principles of building peace based on international experience.
