Makhachkala, December 5, 2014. The representatives of the media community of the Republic of Dagestan obtained 8 awards of different values at the "Prometheus - 2014" IT ontest in Pyatigorsk.

It is reported that the republican information agency "Dagestan" took the first place in the nomination "The best information resource across the Northern Caucasus". Dagestan State University became a winner in the nomination "The best corporate website of the NCFD".  Aznaur Adzhiev, Dagestan minister of press and information was recognized as the most "Public open minister". In the special nomination for blog tour partic ipants "Wonders of the Caucasus": "I like it!" Magomed Shapiev gained the 1st place.

Dagestan ministry of culture took the second place in the nomination for the best web resource of state authority of the Northern Caucasus. Blog of the People's Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Rukiyat Gamzatova won in the nomination "For strengthening inter-ethnic relations and the formation of positive image of North Caucasian Federal District."

All winners of the Internet Prize "Prometheus - 2014" received diplomas and prizes from the general sponsor of the event - the "Resorts of the North Caucasus" OJC.

The contest "Prometheus" is deservedly considered one of the most important annual events in the life of online communities of the North Caucasus. The number of participants and the level of nominees and winners are growing from year to year.
