Dagestan to host Russian Internet Forum

Makhachkala, August 7, 2015. On August 28-29, 2015 Dagestan will host the All-Russian Internet Forum - RIF.Kavkaz, which is a structural stage of the large nationwide project RIF.Region 2015.

RIF.Region 2015 is a project devoted entirely to the Internet industry and the new digital economy, probably one of the youngest sectors of the global economy. The Republic of Dagestan, being the one of the Russian regions with predomination of youth among population embodies these trends. The project is a continuation of the legendary RIF + KIB project which traditionally (over 19 years) gathers thousands of young individuals indifferent to Internet technologies in Moscow region.

The Republic of Dagestan, being the southernmost region of Russia, located at the intersection of the borders of five countries will continue the mission of "Silk Road", and connect to a single communication channel all the Big Caucasus.

Therefore, as part of RIF.Kavkaz Dagestan will bring together the representatives of information and telecommunications industry of the North Caucasian region and the entire Caucasus to exchange experiences and to discuss the central themes of the conference: figures, facts and trends of Runet, digital sovereignty, information security, development trends of the Internet industry, internet advertising, digital marketing, ecosystem support for start-ups. In some sections there will be organized special events within the framework of Russian national projects "Digital literacy (Literacy)”, “IT - my future profession” and "Internet-rated regions of Russia."
