Makhachkala, April 17, 2018. The "Interaction between local government and the clergy in affairs of spiritual, moral and patriotic education of youth and the counteraction to the ideology of extremism and terrorism" republic-wide conference will be held in the center of the traditional culture of the peoples of Russia in the settlement of Khebda on 25 April.

The conference is organized by the Committee on Freedom of Conscience, interaction with religious organizations of Dagestan with the support of administration of Shamilsky municipal district and the Muftiyat of the republic.

"The conference is held to discuss the status of state-confessional relations, the religious situation, the issues of cooperation between the municipal authorities and the clergy of the mountainous Dagestan, to solve the existing problems, including the counteraction to the ideology of terrorism and extremism, to maintain the spiritual and moral education of the young people and the consolidation of efforts of the public associations and active citizens. It was organized as part of implementation of the state program "The comprehensive program to counter the ideology of terrorism in the Republic of Dagestan for 2018-2020 years", the Committee press service informs.

The conference organizers invite the representatives of state and municipal authorities of the republic, the officers of the Anti-Terrorist Committee RD, the clergy of the high mountainous municipal districts of the republic, the scientific intellectuals and the public figures.
