Makhachkala, July 27, 2019. A series of master classes on the treatment of chronic pain by spinal cord neurostimulation will be held for Dagestan surgeons in the Republican Clinical Hospital. The experts say that thanks to SCN-therapy, the patients significantly reduced doses of painkillers, thereby improving their quality of life. The advantage of the method is that the patient is independently able to adjust the level of stimulation using the remote control.

The first operations in the republic will be carried out by the chief neurosurgeon of the Ministry of Public Health of Dagestan, Shamil Sadikov, and the neurosurgeon Anton Tolstoy. A master class in surgery will be held July 30 on preliminary accreditation.
