Makhachkala, April 24, 2015. As part of the All-Russian patriotic action "Bow to those great years ..." a solemn meeting and laying flowers ceremony took place at the Memorial of heroic defense of Sevastopol 1941 -1942 years. The ceremony attended by the representatives of the Government of Sevastopol, the envoy of the Government of Dagestan in Sevastopol was dedicated to the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

The territorial bodies of the Ministry of Justice, Interior Ministry officials, the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Federal Bailiff Service, veterans came to pay tribute to the soldiers fallen. The event was also attended by 20 students of the Russian Legal Academy of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation from Dagestan.

The deputy governor of Sevastopol Eugeny Dubovik and the plenipotentiary of the Government of Dagestan in Sevastopol Murad Salikhov greeted the veterans and the guests of honor and thanked the initiators of the event - the students of the Russian Academy of Law for the idea and organization of the patriotic action.

"Sevastopol suffered a lot in its history, the city has been and remains the city-warrior and the city-winner. We are proud to see Sevastopol with Russia. We are proud that on the eve of the Great Victory Dagestani students stay on this heroic land and share love for the motherland and pride in our homeland with Sevastopol. The purpose of the action is to visit the city of heroes, to show the younger generation of Soviet soldiers’ valor, the native land of front workers and veterans"- the envoy of the Government of Dagestan in Sevastopol Murad Salikhov said.
