Dagestan schoolboy becomes prize-winner of All-Russian Olympiad

Makhachkala, April 30, 2018. The pupil of Tindinskaya secondary school located in high mountainous Tsumadinski district of Dagestan Magomed Magomedov became the winner of final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad on the basics of life safety.
Noteworthy, the Olympiad was held on April 24 - 29 in the city of Ufa. 209 participants from 58 regions took part in the event. As part of the competitive tests, Magomedov successfully passed the theoretical round and scored maximum points on the practical one (shooting, orienteering, use of personal protective equipment, victims rescue, assembly / disassembly of weapons, high-speed equipment, fire-fighting, etc.).

"I would like to thank my teachers, the employees of the National Center for identification and promotion of talents at Dagestan State University of National Economy and my coaches". It is them that I owe my good results" - the schoolboy said.
The pupil pointed out that he had not yet decided which higher school to enter for further training: "I know for sure that I will be a lifeguard."

Magomedov has become the third representative of Dagestan who won the prize-winning places at the Al-Russian Olympiad. Ashurbekov Zamir, a pupil of Derbent secondary school № 15 won the Olympiad in Informatics. Abdulkadir Buchaev, a pupil of the Republican multi-lyceum for gifted children a prize-winner won the contest in mathematics.

Recall, the Olympiad winners are granted an opportunity to enter any university with no entrance exams regardless of the points received on the Unified State Examination. Besides, the teens receive a stipend of up to 25,000 rubles a month during their study at the higher schools.
