Makhachkala, August 21, 2019. The number of officially registered unemployed in Dagestan for nine months decreased by a thousand people. According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the region, as of January 1, the number of officially unemployed in the republic amounted to more than 23.4 thousand people. For the present time this figure exceeds a little 22.3 thousand people.

The Ministry reports that as of August 14, there are 1,133 vacancies in the republic: in the field of education - 295 vacancies, construction - 197, administrative activities and the provision of related services - 167, public administration - 153, manufacturing - 121, agriculture - 112, public health - 69.
