Makhachkala, April 22, 2018. The delegation from Dagestan has participated in the All-Russian Forum for the prevention of extremism in the youth environment "Formula of Concord" held the day before in the city of Kaliningrad the press service of the Youth Affairs Ministry RD reports.

The republic has been represented by the Ministry’s Youth Patriotic Education Department officials Sirajuddin Galimov and Murad Gaidarbekov, as well as the deputy Mayor of the city of Khasavyurt Khaybula Umarov and the head of the Laboratory to counter terrorist ideology among the youth of Dagestan State University of National Economy Khabib Magomedov.

In total 150 people from 45 subjects of the country took part in the event. The forum was held with a view to develop methodological measures to suppress extremist attitudes among the youngsters and to study the experience of Russia’s regions in countering the ideology of extremism.

During the forum, the participants discussed a number of pressing issues related to the organization of work of volunteers at the World Free Style Wrestling Cup in Kaspiysk and the measures to combat the propaganda of social, racial and religious intolerance, etc.

Dagestan delegation presented a documentary film shot by the Youth Affairs Ministry "IGIL *. Eastern trap" and other educational projects.

Speaking at one of the sites online, the Ministry officer Sirajuddin Galimov said that extremism and terrorism were the most dangerous problems facing the mankind. "At present, this is a real threat to Russia's national security. The ideological work is one of the main directions of the fight against extremist and terrorist manifestations in the public sphere" - he said.
