Makhachkala, January 23, 2015. Dagestan ministry of youth affairs has developed an interagency plan for preventing drug abuse and promoting healthy lifestyle among young people in 2015, a source in the ministry told RIA Dagestan.

The plan takes into account the proposals of Dagestan ministries and agencies, religious departments, children's and youth associations.
They plan includes 33 projects aimed at implementing the plan in several areas. In particular, narcologists, religious leaders, and officials from Dagestan office of the Russian Drug Control Service will hold lectures and debates.

Prevention of anti-social phenomena including drug addiction will also be carried out via holding sports events. A special focus is placed on enhancing a drug-free mentality in media through public service advertising, hanging banners, and handing in agitation fly sheets.

Some of the projects are accentuated on working with both young people "at risk" and parents of the "drug hit families" whose child is addicted.
