Dagestan Ministry of Tourism to support student projects in tourism sector

Makhachkala, July 4, 2016. Today, Dagestan minister for tourism and folk crafts Magomed Isayev has met with the director of the Institute of Ecology and Sustainable Development Gayirbek Abdurakhmanov and graduates of 2016 year, the press service of Dagestan ministry of tourism reports.

Gayirbek Abdurakhmanov noted that the students of the eco-geographical faculty worked hard to study the problems of the tourism development in Dagestan. Their thesis are dedicated to the development of ecotourism in Tlyaratinsky district of Dagestan and  Zakatala district of Azerbaijan, to the prospects of the sanatorium "Talgi" as a recreational facility, the prospects of development of cultural tourism in Derbent and Kaspiysk, and the prospects for the development of agro-tourism in Dakhadayevsky district.
Magomed Isayev pointed out that the students were thorough studying the tourism sector.

"You did a good research and I believe that you should take into account the development of tourism in Dagestan. You have already studied the theory of problems of tourism development and now it is time to solve these problems. In Dagestan, every ministry or department need young professionals and professional staff.

If you are omniscient in your thesis, if you are ready to implement your projects, I am ready to support you. I wish that the younger generation are involved to develop the tourism industry, "- Magomed Isayev concluded.

The director of the Institute of Ecology and Sustainable Development Gayirbeg Abdurakhmanov suggested to Dagestan ministry to interact with the DSU in training professional staff, besides, the university could provide environmental and ethnographic characteristics of Dagestan territory. Such interaction will help to develop the tourism industry.
