Makhachkala, September 6, 2016. Dagestan media are invited to participate in the All-Russian Counter-Terrorism Media Contest initiated by the State Budgetary Institution RD "Information, Coordination and cultural center".

The contest is held with a view to fully execute the decision of Dagestan Government on December 30, 2015 №373 "On approval of the state program of the Republic of Dagestan" "Integrated program to combat the ideology of terrorism in the Republic of Dagestan for 2016".

The purpose of the contest is to identify and support the authors of articles posted in the regional and local print and electronic media aimed at combating and prevention of the ideology of extremism and terrorism, improving the spiritual and moral climate in society and providing massive coverage of participants, spectators, listeners and Internet users.

The main goals of the event is to contribute and to improve the effectiveness of information countering the extremist ideology in Dagestan, to eliminate  members of illegal armed formations and to increase the level of loyalty to the law enforcement authorities.
