Teachers from Dagestan entered the TOP-7 at the online Olympiad "I love mathematics". The all-Russian annual competition will run till February 28. The main stage of the event will be held on March 1 - 4. 486 teachers and more than 800 schoolchildren take part in the first stage. The event is being held within the framework of last year's agreement between the regional Ministry for Digital Development and Yandex on the joint implementation of the Yandex.Litsey and Yandex.Uchebnik projects.

These projects grant young children access to new knowledge and technologies. According to the Acting Minister for Digital Development Sergei Snegirev the schoolchildren are offered an opportunity to acquire programming skills. Besides, the project provides a basis for those wishing to become specialists in IT technologies. According to the official data of the republican Ministry of Education and Science, the number of active users of Yandex.Textbook in Dagestan is gradually increasing. So, to date, 1,612 teachers and 18,786 students have registered on the platform.
