Dagestan looks for ways to save nature reserves

Makhachkala hosts a press conference dedicated to the environmental project launched by the Russian TV channel HDL together with Dagestan State Reserve. The event highlights the unique environmental initiative, which the Russian travel and adventure television channel HDL (produced by Red Media company, part of Gazprom-Media Holding) has been working with Russia's leading nature reserves for the second year in a row. This year, Dagestan State Reserve became a partner in the initiative.

The objective of the environmental project is to strengthen the scientific observation of wild animals inhabiting protected areas of the country and to attract public interest to their unique flora and fauna by means of modern high-definition photo and video recording equipment.

The project will expand technical range of research and will make a significant contribution to the conservation of the country's natural diversity.
