Makhachkala, June 7, 2018. The "Rostelecom" JSC in partnership with Nokia have selected the winners of the VII International Journalists’ Contest "Together into the Digital Future".

According to the press service of the company, the correspondent of the State TV and Radio Company "Dagestan" Aysenem Semedova was awarded with a diploma and a gift in the category "Radio and Television". Her plot "Digitization of rare old books in Dagestan" took the third place in the specific nomination.

As to the press release, about 1200 works were submitted for the competition. 18 works in different categories were presented to the regional stage from Dagestan. The contest was held among regular and freelance correspondents, journalists of regional media, regional tabulations of the federal mass media, as well as among the representatives of the Russian blogosphere.

The goal of the contest is to attract media attention to the topic of innovative developments and technological novelties in the telecommunications industry and other public spheres. The regional and federal jury including experts from the telecommunications market, the Internet industry and the media community worked to evaluate the bids.
