Makhachkala, September 20, 2018. Dagestan authorities along with the Autonomous Non-government Organization “Digital Economy” held the IV Russian Internet Forum “Kavkaz” with the participation of representatives from Yandex, Mail.ru, 2GIS and the other leading Russian IT companies. The forum participants considered a wide range of issues related to the digital economy development, the priority directions of digital transformation, the development problems and the approaches to their solution as well as the issues of support and development of the IT sphere in the republic.

The director for regional policy of the ANO Digital Economy Alexander Zorin, the executives of Dagestan Government and the representatives of the Yandex and Rosatom companies discussed the cooperation issues and the digital solutions that can be implemented in Dagestan.

"The government of the republic is interested in using the best digital solutions that increase the efficiency, the transparency and the quality of public administration, the public services rendering process, the business efficiency of digital technologies and services that create comfortable conditions for citizens in their daily life. Such positive changes may be achieved through the introduction of elements developed by the ANO "Digital Economy", including solutions in the sphere of culture and tourism, housing and communal services, organization of transport services for the population, land and property relations, and so on" - the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Sergey Snegirev said.

According to Snegirev, the digital projects will be implemented in Dagestan within the framework of the regional program, using the public-private partnership mechanisms.
