Makhachkala, November 10, 2017. Within two days, the athletes from the regions of the Northern Caucasus will overcome obstacles in the mountain range of the republic of Dagestan. On November 7, an open championship on combined tourism kicked off in Dagestan. 11 teams from the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District will challenge the Grand Prix.

The total length of the route is 120 km. While passing the route the athletes need to demonstrate good survival skills, the spatial orientation ability, the first aid assistance knowledge and the night searching skills. The teams will also practice their skills in water rescue operations.

All the teams have passed the qualification round. The launch took place on November 7 in Kazbekovsky district of Dagestan. Then the route ends in Buinaksky district.
The teams have the local maps and navigation equipment.
