Dagestan delegation takes part in celebration of 92th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev

Hachmaz, Azerbaijan, May 15, 2015. On May 10, the official Dagestan delegation visited Hachmaz, Azerbaijan, to participate in the festivities dedicated to the 92nd anniversary of famous statesman Heydar Aliyev, a source in the Dagestan ministry of national policy told RIA Dagestan.

The delegation included deputy minister of national policy Arsen Mahmudov, acting head of the Derbent region administration Magomed Djelilov, and acting Derbent mayor Azad Rakhimov. Envoy for the Russian Embassy to Azerbaijan, Advisor Oleg Murashev was one of the guests here, too.

In Hachmaz, the delegation saw the city and visited a number of museums, cultural and memorial complexes, and social facilities in company with Hachmaz region head Shamseddin Hanbabayev and several heads of Hachmaz region’s municipalities.

The guests visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum, the Aziz Aliyev Museum, the Avenue of prominent statesmen and public figures of Azerbaijan, the historical museum, the Olympic reserve training center, and other facilities. They also laid flowers at the monument to Heydar Aliyev and Aziz Aliyev.
The event ended with presenting commemorative gifts and a concert by Hachmaz region’s artists.
