The public health minister of the republic of Dagestan Djamaludin Gadzhiibragimov determined the development of high-tech medical care (HTMC) among the priority directions of work of the Ministry. “The introduction of modern methods of treatment allows the residents of the republic to receive high-quality medical care not leaving Dagestan” - the minister is quoted saying. .

The range of surgical interventions and its quantity are expanding. Thus, the list of new types of unique operations is planned to be expanded in all 15 largest republican hospitals. The volume of HTMC in 2019 will be increased by more than 20%. The local residents with complex and rare diseases receive HTMC with the use of high technologies based on the latest achievements of science and technology in traumatology, cardiovascular surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neurosurgery, oncology, urology, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery , neonatology, etc.

The federal budget and the Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund allocates all the necessary financial support for the needs of HTMC in Dagestan.
